Mark Seymour is a UK-based documentary photographer known for his distinctive layered approach to visual storytelling. Working primarily across India, Cuba, Sicily, and the UK, he constructs complex, multi-layered frames that reveal the subtle relationships between people, place, and culture within fast-moving public spaces. His work has been published by National Geographic and exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery, among other international venues. His long-term projects are built on immersion, observation, and a commitment to photographing communities with
clarity and respect rather than spectacle.
He is the author of Layers of India, a published body of work that reflects his patient,constructed approach to documentary prac9ce. Alongside his personal projects,Mark regularly teaches, lectures, and leads documentary-focused workshops internationally.
