Pierluigi Meduri is an Italian journalist and photographer. Born in Rome, where he lives and draws the greatest inspiration for his work, he is a lover of the art of photography in all its forms, but it is in street photography that he finds the tool through which to know and appreciate the world in its own way. more intense and beautiful, through people.
He is President of the Alpido Photographic Association, co-organizer of the RomePhotoLab, the International Photography Festival of Rome.
Pierluigi has exhibited in several collective exhibitions in the Italian capital: seven in Via Margutta at the “Monogramma” Contemporary Art Gallery; at the French Cultural Institute Saint Louis, in the foyes of the prestigious Parioli Theatre, at the historic event “Lungo il Tevere” and at the Galleria della Biblioteca Angelica.
Pierluigi is the founder of RRoma.street - International Street Photography Hub based in Rome; he is a member of Street Badass and Kalopsia Collective.
In 2022 he received the special mention for photography at the Open Art Award.
In 2023 he obtained first place at the Paris - Street Photography Awards in the "Street Fashion" category, third place in the "Street Portrait" category and two special mentions in the "Use of Flash" and "Contrast - Lights and Shadows" categories.
In 2024 he exhibited his work “MadamAbat”, in the United Arab Emirates during Xposure, between the end of February and the beginning of March, and in the same year he was a finalist at the Brussels Street Photo Festival and in the Fuji Moment street Photo Awards in Poland. He has exhibited in Milan (Italy), Buenos Aires (Argentina).
Currently 5 of his shots are featured in a prestigious group show at the Vatican City - Holy See, on the occasion of the "Open Doors" exhibition supporting the theme of inclusion and solidarity among people
A collection of his images was published in a special edition of Docu Magazine.
His work has also been published in FishEye magazine and The Pictorial List.
